Several QIC shopping centres have thrown their support behind the rise of eco-friendly electric cars, by offering access to Tesla Destination Charging.
Castle Towers Centre Manager, Martin Ollis, said the Tesla Destination Charging bays are available to any member of the public who wishes to use them.
“We’ve seen a significant rise recently in the number of electric cars visiting Castle Towers, and we’re happy to support this growing movement toward a more sustainable mode of powering cars,” Mr Ollis said.
Customers are able to conveniently charge their cars within the Centre’s car park free of charge by accessing recently installed charging bays.
The charging bays are powered by user-friendly High Power Wall Connectors provided and installed by Tesla, allowing owners to conveniently charge whilst away from home for long periods.
Tesla Destination Charging has been implemented at Castle Towers in Sydney, Watergardens Town Centre in Melbourne, and Hyperdome in Logan, with Eastland and Westpoint next to be installed.
